Until April 30th, 2024, an early-bird registration fee is available. Registration Dead Line: July 31st, after this date it will only be possible to add short courses, workshops and other activities to registrations already made, if available.

Registration includes conference proceedings, both electronic and in print, attendance to all technical sessions, coffee breaks, lunches, 5k race, and gala dinner.

For any paper to be included in the conference program, the corresponding author must register during the advance payment period – till April 30^th, 2024.

Only one oral presentation and/or one poster per registered participant.

 

Accompanying Persons
An accompanying person is a spouse, friend, or adult child (18 years old and older) who is not working in a science related occupation or field.

Accompanying persons may not attend the oral or poster scientific sessions.

There are no registration fees for accompanying persons. However, accompanying persons may purchase tickets for some activities.

Payment Confirmation: notifications will be sent to your email address, once your payment is processed successfully. No other confirmation will be provided.

 

Refund Policy: Paid registrants who cannot attend, and do not send a substitute, will be refunded with a cancellation fee of 100 euros plus an administrative fee of 20 euros if a request is received in writing before June 31th, 2024 to lurdes.catalino@abreu.pt Registrants are liable for their full fees after that date (i.e., NO Refund will be made).

Registration Terms and Conditions:

·        All Registration must be completed on the official website.

·        Participants are strongly encouraged to register before the early bird to take advantage of the discounted registration fees.

·        All registration fees are quoted in Euro (€)

·        Payment in any other currency will not be accepted.

Payment will be available by credit card and bank transfer:

• Credit cards are accepted and can be made through the online services on a secured server. For security reasons, under no circumstances should credit card details be sent by email.
• Bank transfer: Bank charges must be paid by the participants in addition to the registration fees.
  Please make sure to indicate the Congress name plus the full participant’s name. 

For each registration made and with payment selected by bank transfer, you will receive an automatic proforma invoice.
Invoices with an address in the European Union should be provided with a VAT Number. The invoicing address and VAT number can only be set up during the registration process. Enter the desired billing address – you can either use your main contact information or use an alternative address (e.g., if your institution is funding your registration).

Proof of enrollment for students
For registration in student categories, the interested party must submit a supporting document that proves his/her current full student status (proof of enrollment or declaration of the educational institution). The document must be added to your online registration form after you select the student fee category.

Liability Waiver
The safety and well-being of our attendees is our top priority. The Geostats2024 organizers are committed to providing a safe environment for the event and will make every reasonable effort to do so. However, as an attendee, you must fully understand and knowingly, voluntarily, and irrevocably assume all risks related to entry into, and presence in, at, and around the event venue(s), which may include an increased risk of exposure to communicable diseases. As an attendee, you accept personal responsibility for your voluntary participation in the event and assume all responsibility for claims and potential claims relating to any risks and hazards of attendance.

The official abstracts and registration services for Geostats2024 are provided by Abreu Events. You should only trust information from legitimate sources like the Geostats2024website and our official Congress Organizer Abreu Events.
